More teasers/previews of the gorgeous items talented designers made for the upcoming WILD.Released hunt, starting March 20th.

Evangeline Miles of Evie’s Closet created this lovely Nyria gown especially for WILD.Released. It includes the short chemise sleeves as shown in the pic and gorgeous long chemise sleeves. Those of you who already own Evie’s Closet creations know what to expect of this gown: great textures, lovely details and a skirt which moves beautifully like no other in SL.

If you’re not only familiar with Evie’s Closet but have also spent some time exploring Oubliette and/or the Balderdash main store you might wonder: ‘where in Oubliette did she take that pic?’ Well, this is not in Oubliette. This pic was taken in my own SkyGodess Cave created by Saiyge Lotus of Balderdash:

The SkyGodess Cave is a cave in a skybox. Perfect if you’d like your own little place in the sky to retreat to, and it works brilliantly for pictures too. There’s a couple of drippy candles on the rocks, crystals to admire and a small pool too. The SkyGodess Cave is low prim. Perfect if you’d like to bring a bit of the Oubliette magic to your own land. Saiyge made this cave especially for the WILD.Released Stamp hunt.

Showing you a little teaser from the upcoming WILD.Released stamp hunt, the reward items from FlipSide. FlipSide is one of the 12 stores participating in WILD.Released. She made this lovely babydoll dress, neckpiece and bracelet (closeups in the next picture)

I admit it. I’m a sucker for League stuff. League is one of my favorite stores in SL because I know Nena Janus creates flawless, seamless items with high quality textures and perfect sculpts. League’s latest release are these camouflage combat shorts in several different colors. The combat shorts have tons of options: 9 Belt textures for belts on pockets and waist, and 9 handkerchief textures for the hanky in the pocket on the legs of the shorts.
I’m also wearing the League 50L friday item which are the Sports Socks, the League Shin Boots and a League skin called Misty.

This Tiatia outfit by L’Abel is created especially for the 2010 – the future is now event at Rezzable. The outfit includes the bodysuit, leggings, black bolero (in different sizes) and gloves. Now I must say that I was a bit surprised to see a designer like Neferia Abel in an event which a futuristic theme but I think she did a great job and created a stunning outfit.

I combined the outfit with 2 other items from the Rezzable event. The first one is the Rigel hair by Wasabi Pills. The hair is wild, punky..and I love it The second item is one of the items I really was looking forward to see at the rezzable event. It’s one of the new Fallen Gods skins called Psychic in Ashes Alpha Argentum. Fallen Gods did not disappoint and I grabbed several of the new skins.

2010 – The Future is Now

I love it when 2 creators release new stuff which really works out great together. Not too long ago, Faery Sola of Studio Sidhe released this music box and Evangeline Miles of Evie’s Closet released the Lyra and Lyra II sets. I’m convinced that magic happened as soon as those 2 creations met.

This gorgeous music box pose prop is made by Studio Sidhe. When you rez it, it starts out as a tiny music box, but all you have to do is click it to watch it grow till it becomes large enough for your avatar to use. Hop on the little spinning platform and watch your avatar spin around like a ballerina in a music box. The box comes with 9 different ballet poses. It’s available in 7 colours or as a special colour change edition.

The outfit is Lyra by Evie’s Closet. I previously blogged about one of the special editions of Lyra here. This is the regular Lyra in Amber, which really is a stunning rich and warm red and orange colour. In the first pic, I chose to wear the Lyra II gown. It’s a gowned version of the original Lyra outfits.

I don’t think there’s anyone on the grid who hasn’t heard of the big Rezzable event which started yesterday. It’s named “2010 – The Future Is Now” and it’s a cyberspace/futuristic themed event. Even if you’re not a huge fan of cyberspace stuff it’s an event well worth checking out.

One of the designers participating is Elizabeth Tinsley of Frippery. One of the things that keeps amazing me is how she performs magic with the tiniest of prims. Her work shows gorgeous details, and brilliantly done things like filigree. Her work for this Rezzable event did not disappoint at all. I even dare to day I think it’s her best work so far.

This collection is called ‘The Language of Light’ and it includes the earrings, ring and 2 necklaces. One attaches to the spine and one to the chest. (which is an instant win for me since I love having necklaces which attach to the spine as well to wear with gowns with chest ruffles and such)

The Song of the Stars collection includes this awesome collar. It’s a real eyecatcher and I love it. It also includes earrings and a hairpin, unfortunately I’m not showing them in this pic.

And here’s Symphony of the Spheres. This is actually a necklace for men but it only took a little resizing to turn it into a necklace for my avatar The Symphony of Sphere’s collection includes a ring as well.

All I can say is, go check out the demo’s available of this jewelry. The amount of detail stunned me and I quickly fell in love with all 3 collections.

I think I once said I didn’t like to wear white in SL as in RL. Now I still don’t like wearing white in RL but this winter I can’t get enough of the whole white winter/frost/icy look. Evie’s Closet’s Lyra Frost is my latest obsession.

Lyra is Evie’s latest release and Lyra Frost is one of the 2 special editions (only available through January 2010) she released.

Even though I’m only showing you one look, the special edition Lyra can be worn in several different ways. The release includes 2 skirt options, a ‘long’ skirt as shown and a pod skirt (not shown) but you can also wear the pants and corset with ruffles only. Wings, gloves and crown are included.

The skin is July by PXL Creations, and the eyes are by PXL Creations as well. I figured they deserved a close-up
The hair is Tatum by fri.day, I absolutely love this shade of white.

As you might know Evangeline Miles of Evie’s Closet released a couple of gowns for 50L over the last few weeks to celebrate the holiday season. She keeps them in store for a short time so you’d better grab them while you can.

Right now, this stunning gown is up in her store for 50L! Melusine is one of my favorite Evie’s Closet gowns, Evie released it in several gorgeous colors but this Seafoam one is new. I’m not sure how long Evie will keep this up in her store but if you’d like to get your hands on this previously unreleased colour you’d better be quick.

It’s the last day of 2009 so I’d love to list some of my favorite releases of 2009. I’ve limited myself to 3 pics but honestly, there have been so many lovely creations this year, which made it so hard to pick my favorites.

I’ll start off with Arja by L’Abel. Classy, elegant, and also perfect for those who celebrate new years eve in SL and still need to buy a dress It’s from the L`Abel fall 09 collection.

My second favorite is a skin, July by PXL Creations. Hart Larsson of PXL creations released 2 of my favorite skins this year. The first one is Luthien, a gorgeous fantasy/elven skin and the second one is July, which was an instant favorite of mine.

And my last favorite, it’s Studio Sidhe’s moon pose prop. It’s gorgeous and enchanting and the poses are perfect. IMHO, this put Faery Sola on the map when it comes to SL posemaking and I know 2010 will bring us much more of her ‘epic’ releases.
